Although BYU Hawaii was our first Datatel customer, they have certainly stayed on top of all recent eris developments. MIS Director Rene Yang and his crew are bringing mv://e-Store to the university's bookstore. Their WebWizard programs are popular with the faculty, staff and students. Fortunately for other Datatel customers and prospects, BYU Hawaii shares its many helpful reports and forms with eris, allowing Datatel customers to implement and learn WebWizard programs rapidly.
The University of Southern California Career Planning and Placement department helps place the university's highly regarded students in top jobs throughout the country. With particular attention to the fabled "Trojan Network" of alumni and USC fans, the CPP asked eris to develop the e-Trojan Network. Now, alumni can find students interested in job placement, mentoring and other forms of post-education assistance. According to Executive Associate Director Kirk Snyder, the e-Trojan Network not only increases opportunities to link interested individuals, it favors those who are already savvy and comfortable with web-based business transactions.
Snow College South was our first and oldest educational institution customer. They don't use Datatel, but through the years we've helped them most of their green screen programs to sophisticated web-based forms. All faculty members can now maintain their entire administrative efforts online. Students benefit not only from online grades and registration, but also from the eris WebQuiz system we implemented for their computer-based testing. The software has been so successful that IS Director Craig Curtis has seen demand web-based forms grow dramatically. And SCS is no longer looking for graphical user interfaces that will meet the needs of PC, Mac, and Unix workstations; the browser front-end solves all such compatability needs.
Aptron Corporation develops sophisticated and comprehensive software
for higher education. They have successfully integrated our software
into their Campus and AIMS tools to create their popular

The Sevier School District was able to put the power of its database directly on the desktops of every K-12 teacher in the Sevier County, Utah. Regardless of Mac or PCs, the teachers can take attendance, create a class syllabus, record grades, and print transcripts. They can now also record and report on the unique needs of special education and vocational students. IS Manager Brent Prisbrey describes the web-interface as a crucial link between the district office, the principal, the educator, and the student. And soon, the SSD will be providing special access to help parents monitor, assist, and guide their children through the educational process.
